The European Union Support to Democratic Governance in Nigeria cohort hosted a strategy and capacity-building retreat session for the National Assembly Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges, and Public Petitions. Held in Lagos State, Nigeria, the event aimed to enhance the committee’s effectiveness in addressing ethical matters, upholding privileges, and handling public petitions.

The retreat session, which convened senators and key stakeholders, provided a platform for robust discussions, knowledge-sharing, and strategic planning. Participants engaged in in-depth analyses of best practices, legislative frameworks, and procedural guidelines pertinent to their mandate.
